Sjoerd has been a key contributor to the company's trading strategy, set-up and operations, acting as Head of trading since 2009. In 2010, Sjoerd was named COO due to his keen insight into the necessary inter-relationship between technology and trading. In this capacity he has been responsible for both Trading and IT & Development operations and in 2014 Sjoerd and Dennis Dijkstra, the former CFO of Flow Traders, were appointed co-CEO’s of the Flow Traders group, trading over 500 bn euro value in ETPs.
