Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) is the asset management unit of the Norwegian central bank (Norges Bank) and manages the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Stale joined NBIM, from a predominantly technical career, in 2008. Throughout his role he has covered fields such as cross-asset transactions cost analysis (TCA), cost-aware portfolio optimisation, impact modelling and short-term order flow analytics. His focus has shifted gradually up the value chain, from algorithms to optimal trading in order flow with different characteristics.
